Pretense of Letting Go is a memoir-like essay that reflects mainly on these three interrelated concepts:
1) Concept of immigration 2) Concept of home 3) Concept of attachment
The essay is part of a larger body of work which follows by a photographic series under the same title. Both parts of the work (assay and photographs) explore the mental process of memory and its impression on the migrant’s life as an artist.
